I had never heard of this supplement that was featured on the Dr. Oz show today, but anytime I hear “Miracle Berry” my ears perk up!  Chris Kilham talked to Dr. Oz about Schizandra Berry and how this magic pill can help you to improve your memory, maintain your concentration and focus skills.  Chris explains how you can look and feel younger today.

Schizandra supplements can help you in a variety of ways.  First of all it helps to lower your stress hormones in yoru blood. Is this part of the reason why you can focus better?  I know that I can’t maintain concentration at all when I’m all stressed out!

They did a taste test of the berries on the show and let me tell you, the audience guest AND Dr. Oz didn’t particularly like it.  I suppose this is why you should take it in supplement form rather than by eating the berries!  They said that the berries have a pungent and sour taste.  Schizandra is a powerful antioxidant that can help slow down the natural aging process.  Your body can also detoxify itself better because of it’s powerful anti-inflammatory properties.

Increases Your Energy – Instead of grabbing for sugary energy drinks or loading up on coffee (which can cause those dreaded 2:00 PM crashes) try some Schizandra.  Chris said that ever since he started taking this supplement energy has never been a problem.  I need to check into this, because I don’t know what to do with myself without coffee.  Ginseng gives me a boost, but I guess that’s entirely off topic.

You can purchase Schisandra in capsules and extract form.  If you buy it in extract form you can add it to your favorite juice.  Chris Kilham recommended apple juice.  Take 500 milligrams per day.

My conclusion : This supplement seems like it’s all upside to me.  Antioxidants can help slow down the aging process and keep you healthy.  If it really does improve my memory, focus, and concentration all the better!
